Memory Foam Tips

    Buying Guide for Density Confusion

So you want to purchase your memory foam and yet are getting a little confused with all the talk of density and depth, with so many various reports on what density is best, the lower density the higher density, it is no wonder you are feeling confused.

Though the density of memory foam could have an impact on the support you want to get from it, more so if you are purchasing memory foam for health benefits there is a rough guide to assist you.

On average most consumers should be looking for memory foam with a density of 3 - 4 lbs to provide enough support and comfort to your body and still have high durability. There is no proven evidence that the higher the density, the better the quality or similarly the lower the density the durability will be affected.

Many people opt for the medium density of 3 - 4 lbs as they still get the support, the comfort they need but without too much firmness that can make it slightly more difficult to move around.

Unfortunately you are going to find many manufacturers telling you many different stories, but there are a lot of reviews on the internet for the density of memory foam.

Look online and see what other consumers have said with similar health problems and what density they have preferred, as we know what works for some may not work for others but based on what others report may assist with knowing which density will work for you and put a little of your confusion to one side.

Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The sleeprighta side sleeping pillow has three important design features, which distinguish it from all other memory foam pillows. The full facial cradle helps reduce pressure points on the jaw and ear. This means increased blood flow to the facial dermal cells while sleeping, reducing the tendency for facial tissues to crease or sag.the 12-degree shoulder cradle accommodates the acute angle between your head, neck, and shoulder while sleeping on your side. You may experience significant improvement in your spinal alignment between the neck and back. The anatomical shoulder cradle will reduce the body weight impact on the shoulders, increasing blood flow to the arms. The left and right airway system helps to improve breathing. Side sleeping opens up the airway and prevents snoring due to the larynx remaining open while asleep. Side sleeping properly may reduce snoring. It also will help with the reduction of migraine headaches that are produced when the sub-occipital muscles in the top of the head cannot relax. People who sleep with their head propped up often experience headaches in the morning; this is not a coincidence but rather due to the pressure that was forced on the sub-occipital muscles all night.
