I have to admit that this was one on-line purchase I was a bit leary of. Having made many purchases using Amazon, I was confident of a no hassle return, if needed. The mattress arrived rolled up, upon removing the packaging, it sprang to life. There was a "plastic smell" that was not noticable when I went to sleep, approx. 8 hrs later. It took a couple of hours for the mattress to reach the full 11". The mattress is FIRM, and took about a week for me to get used to. I have been using the mattress for about 6 weeks and I love it. I'm about 200 lbs and on disability for a bad back. I must say that morning stiffness and pain are gone. I sleep on my side, and the mattress does conform to my body. I really am very satisfied with this mattress. While researching this I noticed that some mattresses have 2 layers of foam, the top being 2-3" of softer material and the bottom being firmer. Someone who is used to a softer mattress might want to consider this. As far as Amazon is concerned they are one of the best e-tailers out there. I have purchased items ranging from $0.99 - $1000 and have only returned 2-3, cancelled many because I found a better price or the item was back-ordered and never had a problem.

Delivery was quick. Mattress is not as soft as I had hoped but I sleep well every night. Except for the smell. I aired it out for several days and now after having it for almost a month I'm still pulling the cover and sheets off and opening my windows during the day - looking forward to the night I don't smell the off-gasing or whatever anymore. And needless to say, good luck ever returning it without the machine they used to roll it up in the factory. But overall it's a nice bed- or will be when it stops stinking

The mattress was as described. It is quite firm but shapes nicely when sleeping on it. I can turn and sleep on front, back or either side without any hip or shoulder pain. The odor disappeared after the bedding was changed a few times. This mattress does not seem to get too warm like the foam pad that I had previously. Price wise and comfort wise this seems to have been a good purchase.

I'll try be short and to the point.

1) The item actually got to my house a couple days early.
2) It fluffed up to full size in about 8 hours. Slept on it the first night.
3) There was a faint smell for a few days, but I really had to press my face into it to notice.
4) Compared to other Memory foam mattresses I have slept on this one is cooler, but I've only tried 2 and they were the original TempurPedic ones if I am remembering right.
5) Since it comes in a large roll of over 75 pounds, make sure you have someone around who can handle it.
6) I was hoping for a magical fix for my upper back problems, and while this isn't magic I have seen SIGNIFICANT reduction in in pain in the week since I got this.
7) Everyone who has tried it loves it, and I believe a couple may have even ordered their own.
8) Recovery rate could be a little better. If you are going to roll from one side of the bed to the other, it will feel uphill both ways. Actually an interesting sensation.
9) No movement transfer.
10) I would recommend. In fact I have--to friends, family and now the internet. I'm sure there may be better mattresses, but I've never slept on them. Also you REALLY can't argue with the price. You get much more than you pay for.

I was extremely skeptical about buying a mattress online specially because it was a memory foam mattress of a brand that I had never heard of. But let me tell you it does the job. After the switch from my old mattress, I could instantly notice what I was missing. The shipping was perfect, and arrived in a very timely fashion. The mattress itself feels great, its incredibly soft, but does not lack in firmness. As for the smell people have mentioned I personally do NOT think it is anything to fuss about, and all it takes is some time and its gone. All together I think this is a great buy, and a great way to live comfortably without dishing out 3000 dollars for a name brand.
